European multiculturalism: CocreateIP′s background and turning point

Similar to the global pluralism, Europe as a geographical concept is composed of many countries that speak different languages, have different cultures, and maintain their own independent characteristics, but yearn for cooperation and common development. The unity and diversity of Europe is not only reflected in its geography, its languages, and other various cultural characteristics, but it is also reflected in the legal system adopted by each country and in the international treaties that each country participates in.
Not all countries included in the geographical sense of Europe are members of the European Union, such as Switzerland. Likewise, not all the member states of the European Patent Organization are members of the European Union, such as Turkey.
After World War II, European countries began to move towards reconciliation and they pursued further cooperation. After numerous generations of unrelenting efforts, the current European Union was achieved. In the context of globalization, the European Union provides a good example of cooperation among different countries. At least so far, no other region in the world has such a close cooperation as the European Union.
The European Patent Convention is an important symbol of European integration at the legal level. It provides a framework and a base for cooperation in the field of patent law for the economic cooperation of European countries.
In the more ample context of multiculturalism and seeking common ground while reserving differences, global economic cooperation is developing rapidly. More and more companies or individuals have overseas economic interests. In response to the needs of the times, intellectual property rights have undisputedly become a foundation and an important guarantee for the developing international trade.

In the context of pursuing diversification while maintaining differences, and at the same time continuing to seek cooperation and development, the legal, financial and consulting industries related to global trade have begun to flourish, and are developing in the direction of personalized services and informatization services. From the perspective of the intellectual property service industry, there is a pressing demand for professional practitioners who are proficient in transnational patent laws, who are familiar with transnational business culture, and speak with two or three international languages.
In response to the needs of the times, Mr.Gong Jinping established CocreateIP European Patent Attorney Law Firm.
CocreateIP is committed to providing high-quality and market-competitive legal services, especially to Chinese clients.
The main business of our law firm is European patent applications and the related practice. Our law firm is making full preparations for future infringement and invalidation litigation of European unitary patents before the Unified Patent Court.
